May You Live Long, Prof Amuda-Kannike eulogizes Emir of Ilorin @ 81

A renowned legal luminary, Prof Abiodun Amuda-Kannike (SAN) has congratulated a royal father, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari; the Emir of Ilorin on his 81st birthday celebration.

The Professor of Law, who is also Dean, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete in a congratulatory message on Thursday in Ilorin described the Emir as an exceptional leader who is devoted to peace, unity and progress of humanity, and Ilorin Emirate in particular.

Professor Amuda-Kannike stated that the harmony in the Emirate since the ascension of the monarch to the throne has been commendable adding that his exposure as a retired jurist has contributed positively and immensely in dealing with issues as the traditional ruler of Ilorin.

“May your Highness live long. On behalf of my family, accept my esteemed congratulations on your 81st birthday. We are not only celebrating the numbers but your exemplary leadership particularly humility and love for humanity which has attracted to your Highness so much love from the people. We are indeed favoured to have the royal father”.

“Please, accept our profound birthday wishes, prayers for good health as you continue to serve your people. Happy 81st birthday Your Highness”, Prof Amuda-Kannike stated.

HRH Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Kolapo Sulu Gambari CFR , a lawyer and retired Justice of the Court of Appeal, has been the 11th Emir of the Ilorin Emirate in Kwara State, since 1995. He is the permanent Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Councils and one of the 10 traditional rulers in northern Nigeria.
