Learning from Kamala Harris, Obama, Nigeria, others: Lessons for you!

Everyone has a time zone. Don’t envy anyone or mock anyone. They are in their time zone, and you are in yours. Focus on your dreams and cling on God as the Alpha and Omega of your life. Equally, you don’t have to be greedy, selfish or manipulative. There’s so much space for everyone to fly high.

Roderick Mayne Thorp, Jr., an American famous novelist said;

“We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies”.

Below are few amazing examples to make you believe in yourself and run your race without looking sideways knowing you’re uniquely made.

Kamala Harris is an American politician and attorney, serving as the 49th and current vice president of the United States. She is the United States’ first female Vice President, the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history, and the first African American and first Asian American vice president.

Kamala Harris met the love of her life at 49 and she married him at 50. On her 56th birthday, she hit a major career milestone by becoming the first female Vice President of the United States of America.

She is a walking proof that it’s not too late to follow your dreams and to fulfill destiny. And the greatest is that due to joy, that radiates on her, she remains charming, elegant and young.

Another great lesson is – New York and California are two cities in USA. New York is 3 hours ahead of California but it does not make California slow.

Again, Nigeria is one hour ahead of England yet Nigeria plays second- fiddle to England. Also, Nigeria is six hours ahead of the United States of America, yet USA is dominant to the whole of Africa in all ramifications.

The great message or lesson is – someone can become a CEO at 25 and die at 50, while someone else can become a CEO at 50 and live up to 90 years. That’s life.

Barrack Obama ‘retired’ from active politics at age 55 having reached the peak of his political career by serving as US President two terms but Donald Trump started his political career at age 70.

Charles Njonjo married at age 52 and is now 96. Some of his peers could have married at 25 and died at 50.

Absolutely, everyone’s destiny operates based on their God-given time zones. People around you might seem to go ahead of you while some might seem to be behind you. Everyone is running their own RACE within their own time zone.

Life is about waiting for the right moment to act. You’re not LATE, neither are you EARLY. You are very much ON TIME and in your TIME ZONE that God has predestined for you.

Don’t rush to get and don’t be sad if things turn out to be slow. In God’s hands, time is just a tool. Don’t be intimidated by anybody’s success nor allow anybody’s failure triggered fear in your heart. How much you know of God will determine how far you will go in life.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven… He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end”.
Ecclesiastes: 3:1-11.

Be encouraged for God has not forgotten anybody. Just keep on trusting God and be focused. God bless you your dreams and efforts.
