Access Bank boss, Wigwe turns 54, gives credits

GROUP Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, Herbert Wigwe on Saturday turned 54.

Wigwe, born on 15 August, 1966 gave thanks to the Creator and all the people that contributed one way or the other in bringing him to the attainments so far.

“Birthdays make you deeply reflective and thankful. I am grateful to God for gifts, blessings and the incredible people that have taught, mentored, birthed, shaped me on this life’s journey”, he toasted.

His bank, Access Bank has become one of Nigeria’s top five banking institutions after he succeeded his business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede in January 2014.  

He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, University of London and University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
