Women group demands thorough investigations on Tolulope Arotile’s death

A women group, Women Alive Mandate has expressed sadness over stories surrounding the mysterious death of the first female Nigerian combat pilot, Tolutope Arotile who died recently in the Air Force Base in Kaduna.

A statement issued by the convener of the group, Dr. (Mrs) Viola Briggs on Sunday, said the death of the young woman who labored to become a role model will not be allowed to go until justice is done on the matter by a thorough investigation.

“We mourn Combat Pilot Tolulope Arotile, and regret that the stories surrounding her untimely death are absurd.

“It sounds childish to convince us that a vehicle inside the Air Force Base on reverse took the life of such a brilliant lady and wasted her life.

“We are calling on the authorities to explain what happened to Tolulope Arotile without delay as this cannot be swept under the carpet”, she stated.
