PRESIDENTIAL candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2019 elections, Professor Kingsley Moghalu has lambasted the police officer that perpetrated the evil against George Floyd stating the action amounts to racism and inhumanity to man.
Moghalu, a Nigerian political economist, lawyer, former United Nations official, and professor of International Business and public policy at the Tufts University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in a statement also extended the condemnation to numerous, unending and brutal killings of persons mostly for ethnic dominance in Nigeria.
“I fully agree that as we condemn racism against Africans in China and blacks in America, we must condemn ethnic and religious discrimination and hegemony in our country Nigeria. I’ve consistently done so. Injustice anywhere is a challenge everywhere. No peace without justice.
“Same goes for police brutality, a common phenomenon in several countries including Nigeria, in which extra-judicial killings are also common because life is cheap in our country”, Moghalu stated.
