No more lockdown, let’s learn to live with the virus – WHO boss, Nabarro

THE Special Envoy to World Health Organisation (WHO) and Director-General on Convid-19, Dr. David Nabarro has recommended a COVID-Ready society in which people will learn to live with the virus instead of unending lockdown as a preventive measure having produced no vaccines or cure for the virus.

Nabarro made the statement through his Twitter account stating that unending lockdown may do more harm than good as a result of its effects to people and economies of nations at large.

“This virus is going to be with us for the foreseeable future and nobody wants to go having lockdowns as we have at the moment”

“Covid-19 tracing, containment and neighbourhood health watch will be necessary even once the present wave of outbreaks is gone.

“We have all got to learn to live with this virus, to do our business with this virus in our presence, to have social relations with this virus in our presence and not to be continuously having to be in lockdown because of the widespread infections that can occur”, Nabarro stated.

According to him, establishing a COVIDready state requires the full and willing participation of people, a high level of organization within communities, public health services as well as COVID-Ready hospitals and other health care units.

It is a good suggestion by WHO, otherwise, some countries in Africa will soon collapse. We should all learn to live with COVID19, until it disappears for good God’s willing.

It’s high time to say no to abject poorverty raveging our country and the world at large. If we remember the Marseille pandemic and the gory picture it paints,it will be definitely too early to think of such now;possibly in the next six months or a little more when a vaccine might have
been made, but truly the lockdown option is killing the society latently.

It is too early to make such recommendations. We know too little about the disease and any attempt to get back to normal life might have an adverse effect. We are living with common cold, HIV and others because we know more about them. We need not more time but more information about Covid-19 before we can be comfortable to live with it. For the economy to grow we need sound health and certainty of our environment.

I am convinced that continuous lockdown is not sustainable and it is counterproductive. Let the world learn from Taiwan which have put measures in place to live with the virus rather than unending lockdown and have contained the virus.

Well, yes. Cautions, special cautions should be it whenever the lockdowns are romoved. New world order and new powers micro, medium and mega will emerge with likely change of sheriffs. Common man should be careful and avoid being made statistical data. May Devils take all of the people that brought the world to this pretty bad pass!

This is a good message however it comes too soon considering the fact that we do not have enough information on the disease. Some countries seem to be managing it well while others are failing to contain the disease.
My advice is we hold on the lock downs with slow unlocking in the countries that have been able to contain the disease while we continue to get more research advice from the scientist

I believe that we all should be precautions at all times. Not only with Covid-19 but in all areas of our daily lives.Whenever you go out then pray a prayer of sanctification over your life and all those who are going out with you at that given time.Almost all of us has taken life for granted.May this lesson educate us to be thankful in all we have an opportunity to do.Let us serve each other by loving and caring. We all have sin in one or other part of our lives which we need to repent of.Be blessed!

Even social distancing can’t be achievable for a long time bse people need one another for several unavoidable reasons
    We can end the virus

I too suppose that living with the virus will awaken leaders of mostly the third world countries like Uganda to now channel more funding into health systems in all regions. This eventually will allow for better social distancing and city hospitals will not face whelming patients all squirming for one health specialist. They better ameliorate the state of those health units because COVID, like a stubborn drought has come to stay.

Covid-19 is gone. There should have never been lockdowns to begin with.
The flu kills more people worldwide than this disease has. WHO has deceived the world. Many nations have passed bills prohibiting public gatherings including churches. This goes against the bill of rights. We deserve our full freedoms back without conditions.
No further testing. Afterall everyone knows how to manage a flu.
Many of the Covid-19 deaths are false. People dying of other diseases have been numbered as having Covid-19, and later buried without autopsy reports. This level of injustice and inhuman actions should end immediately and the whole truth about Covid-19 exposed.
And what was the mass vaccination all about anyway?
There are so many unanswered questions. The truth must come out.

Firstly, vitamin A, C and D supplementation will prevent the coronovirus from affecting most people.
Secondly those who get COVID-19 and suffer can be cured easily and cheaply.
Third, the entire response to the threat has been a media fear mongered overreaction based on fatally flawed projections from Neil Ferguson at the Imperial College, also a source of false data on Global Warming.
    Fourth, the virus was man-made.

No social distancing is required as we need to build immunity.
The virus has already 30 permutations so, like the flu, a vaccine won’t work against it.
We do not need any army of tracking goons managed by a facist police state watching and tracking our every move any more than we did with the cold and flu.

Stop the fear mongering and let’s get back to solving REAL problems like corporate influence on government, pollution, world hunger and war.

WHO has disappointed the world by its actions and inactions during the Covid-19 handling. It could be stated without fear of contradiction, that WHO is either incompetent or partisan and partial, to fly the flag of such a big global body entrusted with the health and lives of the world population. Their handling of the Covid-19 problem leaves much to be desired. I wish the organization could be reorganized to become more efficient.

I think that is the way to go. The opputunity cost of nation wide lock down is just too big compared to the public heath benefit it self. Besides some neurotic leaders have started to use lockdown against the dear citizens and the people to increase dictatorial grip, and to compromise or rather remove peoples freedom or social and political liberty. Worst for us African nations who are so prone to democratic challenges and miss rule. We demand that the one who prescribed lockdown to countries to un prescribe the same immediately if we have to get to the usual political and economic normalcy . we are heading for the worst locking economies down!!
