Former senator, Kashamu dies of Covid-19 complications

FORMER Senator, Buruji Kashamu who represented Ogun East Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly has died of Coronavirus complications at 62.

According to reports, Kashamu, has been sick for a while now and died at the First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos on Saturday.

His death was announced by his friend and former colleague in the Senate Ben Murray-Bruce.

“I have just lost my good friend of forever to COVID-19,” Murray Bruce said on Twitter.

“Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.”
