PRESIDENT of the Loveworld Incorporated also known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has announced a palliative fund for pastors-in-dire-needs in all churches to lessen the effects of lockdown in place as a precautionary measure against the spread of Coronavirus.
Oyakhilome made the announcement during his special online service on Sunday evening and requested pastors facing hardships irrespective of denominations to submit their details for emergency relief packages.
Pastor Chris said he is worried by the plights many pastors would be going through since the lockdown was put in place across many nations of the world and believed many of them may be on starvation and facing other deprivations.
For the modalities on the grant, Oyakhilome said the ‘pastors in dire need’ would have to contact and register with necessary details as required with Christ Embassy close to them for onward directions.
According to him, the funds would be raised through individual voluntary contributions and used to assist pastors in dire needs during the lockdown dilemma. The category includes all ministers of the gospel irrespective of the title but ministers in a church.
