Anambra Police screen candidates from Ihiala, Ekwusigo, others

ANAMBRA State Police Command has screened a total of 101 candidates from Ihiala and Ekwusigo Local Government Areas in the state.

SP Haruna Mohammed, PPRO Anambra State Police Command made the disclosure in a statement for Commissioner of Police, CP John Abang.

“Today Thursday, 27/8/2020, One hundred and one (101) candidates were screened from Ekwusigo and Ihiala Local Government Areas of Anambra State. The screening exercise commenced at exactly 9:am and so far, a total of 468 candidates were screened from Eight Local Government Areas namely, Anambra West, Anambra East, Orumba North, Orumba South, Ayamelum, Ogbaru, Ekwusigo and Ihiala Local Government Areas of Anambra State. The exercise is hitch free.

“Meanwhile, a Director from the Anambra State Office of the Federal Character Commission, Barr Nonye T. Azike came to the screening centre to observe the exercise”, he stated.

He added that the Screening exercise will continue on Friday 28/8/2020 with Nnewi North and South Local Government Areas respectively.
