Democrats candidate, Biden consoles Donald Trump over brother’s death

CANDIDATE of the Democrats Party in the United States, Joe Biden on Sunday condoled with President Donald Trump over on the loss of his younger brother, Robert Trump to undisclosed ailment.

In a statement by the US President through his social media handle, Robert Trump died on Saturday at the age of 71 at a New York hospital.

According to The Hollywood ReporterTrump described his younger brother as “much quieter and easygoing than I am,” and “the only guy in my life whom I ever call ‘honey.”

He said in his announcement: “It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother; he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”

Robert worked in corporate finance, and after joining the family business, he managed real estate holdings for the family business.

It was also reported that Donald Trump made a last minute visit to New York on Friday to visit his brother as he headed to New Jersey for the weekend after he got news that the condition was becoming hopeless. Robert Trump had been admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.

A source had it that Robert had been sick for several months, however the details of Robert Trump’s illness have not been released. Donald Trump is expected to attend his brother’s funeral.
