Former Lagos governorship candidate, Razaq dies

A onetime governorship candidate in Lagos, Chief Lanre Razaq is dead.


Acording to report, Chief Razak, the Balogun of Epe, died on Saturday at Reddington Hospital, Lagos after a brief illnes at the age of 74.


Until the demise, Razaq was a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC), and an astute supporter of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu during and after his campaign.


He contested for governorship election under the platform of All Nigerian Peoples Party, ANPP when Muhammadu Buhari and Late Chuba Okadigbo paired and contested for President and Vice President respectfully.


After the merger that produced the ruling APC, Chief Razaq pitched tent with the chariot.
