I seriously don’t like it when I feel “I can’t do some things that my mates would do easily”. It takes a lot of time before I can assimilate a particular subject area and the likes.
This is a very good question and I’m seriously glad, having to answer this question because I know it would meet the needs of some people here.
Before I go further, let me hear your say it loud and clear that “YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT” (personalize that statement to yourself and say it affirmatively).
There is power in words. I hope you have said that statement.
You can repeat it and let it sink directly into your mind.
As humans, when things are not going on well with us or we are less of ourselves, we tend to ask the question of “WHY ME?” and then, try to blame God or the people in our lives.
Am I speaking your mind?
When you don’t like a part of you, you shouldn’t assume that God made a mistake. Not at all.
You have to understand that God does not make a mistake. He planned everything out-rightly and He knows what suits you best.
Haven’t you heard that “You are fearfully and wonderfully made”, “You are created in His image”, “and He makes all things beautiful in His time.”
How does God who created you in HIS OWN IMAGE, makes a mistake in creating you?.
Friends, don’t ever think less of yourself or compare yourself to others. God does not make error. He is a perfect God, so He wants everyone to work unto perfection.
When things aren’t going well, maybe He wants to teach you some lessons or wants you to realize some things.
Everyone is unique in his or her own way. Study yourself to know what works best for you.
Love God. Love yourself and show love to others.
Appreciate every part of you because you weren’t created in a rush. You were created to serve and fulfill a specific purpose.
I hope this helps to answer the question.
LESSON I LEARNT WHILE SHARING MY TEENAGE STORY (1)
Would you like to read what I also learnt during this period? Then, let’s go.
If I tell you that I haven’t learnt anything during the course of sharing my teenage story, I know I would be deceiving myself.
As much as I am sharing my story for people to learn from, I am also gaining some important lessons and I will be sharing the lessons in the next space.
I have learnt that:
1.) I should always take a step of faith when I’m trusting God for a particular thing.
Before I started the teenage year series, I chatted with some people telling them my fears of being scared to start and not knowing if I should share the story or not.
I wanted to withhold myself at a point because I don’t know what to do. Meanwhile, this is just a pointer to one of the many things that God is laying in my heart.
What have you been trusting God for?
Haven’t you heard/read that “Faith without works is dead”? Why not work towards that particular thing that you are believing God to do and take that step of faith?
2.) I should never underestimate amazing young minds here.
I have never looked down on any young minds before, in fact, I love to associate myself with them and I won’t stop associating with them.
There are amazing young minds that I have met during the course of this series on social media, who are really dishing out value to people.
Time will not permit me to start mentioning names and I wouldn’t want to end up not mentioning some names. You are all Amazing.
3.) Everyone is GIFTED.
No one is without a gift or talent.
Whether you aren’t tired of talking, cooking, taking care of the home, doing charity works, giving, writing etc, it all starts from somewhere.
Moreover, the talents or gifts has to be fanned to flame. It needs refining.
YOU ARE GIFTED.
YOU ARE FAR BEYOND THE WAY YOU ARE SEEING YOURSELF RIGHT NOW.
Start tapping into the potentials that God has given unto you.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks for reading. You are AMAZING.
Feel free to share, drop your contributions and questions in the comment section or my inbox. I will be glad to respond as soon as possible.
