Eric Thomas, PhD, a world-renowned speaker, author, educator and Pastor has this quote to his credit, “When you find your WHY, you don’t hit snooze no more! You find a way to make it happen!”
Furthermore, Mastin Kipp, an American entrepreneur, best-selling author and peak performance coach in his book titled ‘Claim Your Power’ stated, “Discovering your purpose is the most significant thing you will do in your life, and you, your loved ones, and the world will be better off because you went on this journey”.
Are you at the point of dilemma; not knowing what you can really do? Advisedly, kindly read one of my previous articles on how you can discover your abilities.
If you have discovered your abilities, there are many questions that will be raised in your heart on how to go about it.
For example, after I have discovered that I can write, I didn’t stop there. It’s one thing to discover, it’s another thing to work on it.
I started writing. I didn’t wait till I became good before I started jotting words down as the inspiration flows.
Along the line, I keyed into any personal development training (either paid or unpaid) in order to know and discover who I really am and what I can do more.
So, if you have discovered your abilities and it is still in the raw stare, there is need for refining and reforming.
While you have started at it, be open to opportunities to develop yourself, whether paid or not. Add value to yourself.
Practice all that you have learnt during the training.
Don’t just learn it and let it stop there on that particular day of learning. After learning, practice continuously to become perfect in it.
Reach out to people who are more experienced than you and learn from them.
By doing this, you become a better person.
You are made for more.
You are gifted.
Make use of your gifts.
ONE OF MY 2013 WRITE-UPS THAT I NEVER POSTED
In my previous posts, I had mentioned how I started writing in 2013 but I never had the courage to post on Facebook until 2018.
I was going through my write-ups and I realized that I had immersed myself in the word of God which is a source of inspiration for me. Most of my write-ups then have been inspired by God from the word of God and I’m grateful to God that I am still being inspired by Him because He is my only source of inspiration.
Today, I have decided to post a write-up that I wrote on the 11th of September, 2013 (and that day happened to be my birthday… Yes, I’m a September-born.
Now, to the write-up:
UNDERSTANDING HIS WILL
This particular lesson was coined from Ephesians 5:17.
Understanding means knowing deep knowledge about a particular thing. The Spirit of God makes you to understand.
Will of God is that which God has planned for our lives.
How can we understand the will of God?
Seek God first (Matthew 6:33).
Abstain from sin (1 Thessalonians 4:3).
The Holy Spirit in you.
We should not be unwise meaning that, we should be able to understand whenever God speaks to us and when He reveals knowledge about Him.
It should be noted that when the eyes of our understanding is enlightened, then we will know the hope of His calling and His will.
Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my understanding to know your will.
What is that ability that you have discovered? START NOW!!!
Despise not the days of little beginning.
What are you digesting at the moment? What are you feeding on? You become a product of what you feed on. You become w product of what you are spending your time on directly or indirectly.
Maximize your time wisely.
You can be better than before. You are made for more.
To conclude, a former US Firstlady, Michelle Obama made this solemn remarks at a time, “The only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them”.
I hope this helps you. Thanks for reading. You are AMAZING.
Feel free to share, drop your contributions and questions in the comment section or my inbox. I will be glad to respond as soon as possible.
