Buhari felicitates with former minister, Birma at 80

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday felicitated with Alhaji Dauda Birma, a former Minister of Education and Waziri of Garkida as he marks his 80th birthday.

Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) in a statement said the President in a message to the celebrant on Sunday lauded him for his enormous contribution to the Nigerian project.

“Nigeria has gained significantly from his insights into policy matters in his many years of public service and through his participation in the evolution of our democratic experience”, the President said.

President Buhari also expressed his appreciation for Alhaji Birma’s passion towards the poor in his community and beyond, and prayed to Allah to bless the octogenarian with a longer and healthier life.
