Anambra legislator, Nwokoye celebrates, dedicates to God, constituents

A lawmaker representing Awka North Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon John Nwokoye today celebrates a special day in my life.

In his message of gratitude, the lawmaker dedicates his achievements to the almighty God and also to his constituents for unity of purpose.

“First of all I want to use to opportunity to thank almighty God for bringing me this far, without him I wouldn’t have come this far.

“For what today represents, I have been playing a memory wheel of the past year in my head for the better part of yesterday. It’s amazing how many things can change in 365 days.

“The unwavering love from family, unalloyed support from my Constituents, the everyday challenges that we dedicatedly surmount, and not to mention the COVID19 that took the world by storm but here we are fighting for survival and pushing back.

“These and many more have shaped me and I’ve learned so much about myself, and not to mention how important it is to truly keep God first in all we do.

“I dedicate my birthday to my constituents, for keeping the faith. To the progressives who have placed Awka North first before self and whose only desire is to see development take precedence in Awka North. We might not know what the future holds but we will never stop trying. And to all those out there who are knocked down from the adverse effects of COVID-19, who are unsure of tomorrow, who are fighting for survival, I urge you not to give up. For together, with the Lord on our side, we shall win this war.

“It is a new beginning for me, another opportunity to be grateful to our maker and to continue working tirelessly in serving my people better.

“Thank you Lord for this day”, the message reads.
