PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolences to the Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo on the sudden death of his wife, Mrs. Ibidunni Itua-Ighodalo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity) disclosed this in a statement on Monday and said the President was shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. Ighodalo.
He stressed that the President shares the pain and sorrow of the family at the sudden death, and prays God’s comfort for the entire family, friends and members of Trinity House.
“Please accept my condolence. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, and strengthen you at this trying time,” President Buhari stated.
In the statement, President Buhari holds Pastor Ighodalo in high esteem and acknowledged that he is one person who faithfully prays for the country, and the government, citing a personal letter of condolence he got from the clergy when his former Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, passed away in April following complications from coronavirus.
