THE Presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2019 presidential election, Professor Kingsley Moghalu has saluted millions of Biafrans who were murdered during the Biafran war.

Moghalu said they deserve unquantified tributes for the great combat for freedom they fought for their people with their lives.

“We remember the millions who died in the Biafran war. May they not have died in vain. We honor their memory. True healing and reconciliation requires us to confront this memory and address its pain”, he said.

Similarly, IPOB, a group fighting for the actualization of Biafra Republic also paid their tribute to the slain heroes on 30th May marking the remembrance of Biafran fallen soldiers during the war.

“Today 30th of May 2020 we remember over 3.5 million Biafrans slaughtered in the Biafra war. May their death be our source of inspiration and strength in our quest to restore Biafra sovereignty”, IPOB stated.
