Abule-Ado Explosion: Nnamdi Kanu accuses Miyetti Allah

THE leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has accused the Miyetti-Allah of culpability in the pipeline explosion at the leading to an inferno at one of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, pipelines at Ekoro, Abule -Ado area of Lagos State.

In his twitter account, Kanu stated that terrorism has become part of the system with bombs and other lethal weapons utilized every now and then to intimidate and murder innocent citizens.

“Nigeria’s terrorist activities have become a norm, no outcry for the bombing of Abule-Ado around Trade Fair in Lagos by Miyetti Allah, world’s 4th deadliest terrorist group”, Kanu stated.

However, according to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the colossal inferno which left 15 persons dead and 25 injured persons with many houses destroyed was caused by pressure when a truck hit into some gas cylinders stacked in a gas processing plant near an existing vandalized petroleum gas pipeline which triggered the blast.

Other casualties include facilities at the Bethlehem Girls’ College, Abule-Ado which were also destroyed. The principal of the school, Reverend Sister Henrietta Alokha while rescuing all her students unfortunately lost her life as the roof of the collapsing building fell on her.
