| The Pulpit Mandate |
GOD is supernatural and therefore rules over all natural things. On account of this supernatural life in Christ, Jesus turned water into wine; commanded wind to cease; healed those oppressed by the devil; raised the dead to life; cursed the fig tree and it instantly dried up, and several other remarkable deeds of the miraculous.
God’s indelible mark of divinity is also placed on every child of God who has been adopted into the Christian family and is convincingly born of His Spirit. The very essence of the recreation is to sumptuously acquire this nature as man in his natural being is encumbered by limitations. As we know, the spiritual supersedes the physical. The bible says, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment because as He is, so are we in this world”. 1 John 4:17
This therefore indicates that every believer is empowered with supernatural life; a life superior to natural life. With this, it is invariable that a believer is full of power; power to take charge of your destiny and affairs. We are empowered to accomplish whatever we chose in this world. We cannot be disadvantaged because the same power that made the devils to tremble during the time of Jesus is transferred to all Christians.
As He is, so are we in this world! God has graciously transferred His godly nature into His children, and this is what differentiates Christians from an ordinary earthly vessels. No wonder, Apostle Paul admonishes Christians to become bonded with the Word of God, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you inheritance among all them which are sanctified”. (Acts 20:32)
We can only be tormented by the devil if we allow it. As we know, devil is working to and fro looking for who he will devour. Recall that the devil even confronted the Lord of Host, Jesus directly, and therefore will not avoid you simply because you are a Christian. Remarkably, when Satan confronted our Lord Jesus, it couldn’t but disappear not quite long because Jesus understood that He lives in the supernatural. If the devil didn’t spare our master, it implies that he will not spare Christians too. However, our victory is guaranteed whenever the devil appears.
We are no longer ordinary human beings but supernatural beings. This goes to point at a strategic position of exploits and the miraculous as the Lord did during His ministry. If we speak, our words will take effect because the words we speak are spirit and life. Hence, we are born to rule over situations and circumstances, Give the devil no space at all, we have superior position to decree and get all things accomplished. God bless you.
