A new book titled ‘Legend of the Go-Getter’ authored by a female 400-level student of Medical Biochemistry and Pharmacology of the Kwara State University KWASU, Fareedah Adeshina has been scheduled for a launch on 10th October, 2020.
The highly resourceful novel which is the maiden book of the young author will be reviewed by the Dean, Faculty of Law of the university, Professor Abiodun Amuda-Kannike (SAN) while Hajia Rafat Ibrahim Sulu Gambari will be the Royal Mother of the day.
Other dignitaries for the event are Dr. Mariam Bola Yusuf; Distinguished guest of honour, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu (Hon Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Kwara State) ; Special guest of honour, Hon. Musa Atoyebi Yusuf; chairman of the day while Dr. (Mrs). Binta Sulyman is the mother of the day.
The Special guests are; Dr. (Mrs). Fatima Hamza-Usman, Barr. Tosin S. Alawodu, Mr. Mohammed Shuaib (Registrar, KWASU), Prof Moshood Jimba (Dean, Students Affairs, KWASU), Hajia Binta Abubakar Mora, Hajia Shakirat Akanbi, Dr. Adigun Nurudeen Sheu and Dr. Ojo Sunday, while Mr. Okuwasesan Akanbi is the Chief Book Presenter.
The venue of the event is Mustapha Akanbi Library & Resource Centre, Agba-Dam, GRA, Ilorin at 11am.
