A Nigerian billionaire businesswoman, Folorunso Alakija has urged the people to resist fear and anxiety in the pursuits in life.
Mrs. Alajika, a philanthropist engages in fashion, oil, real estate and printing businesses and occupies 20th position in Africa’s Billionaires -2020.
Before venturing into her fashion business, she was a business administrator and banker.
By Forbes rating, she is net worth US$1 billion as at January 2020, and one of the richest African women and also one of the richest persons in the world.
In her social media handle, Alakija earlier urged young people and entrepreneurs to see Nigeria’s challenges as an opportunity to excel.
“Do not be fearful or anxious about the future. Fear restricts your ability to progress and reach your full potential in Christ.
“Young people, decide to raise the bar and see Nigeria’s challenges as an opportunity to excel. Spot the gap in the market and fill it”, she said.
In her post on Saturday, she said; “God uses ordinary things and ordinary people to achieve and establish His plans and purposes on earth. Go out today knowing that the world is your oyster!”, she remarks.
The female business mogul is an alumnus of the Lagos Business school and a member of the Commonwealth Forum, among others.
