FORMER Presidential candidate of the Democrats Party in the last US poll and former first lady, Hilary Clinton has endorsed the nomination of a female Senator and freedom fighter, Kamala Harris as the running mate to the presidential candidate, Joe Biden.
In her social media handle, Mrs. Clinton who is also a former US Secretary of State expressed delight over the nomination of Kamala Harris as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Democrats Party.
The wife of former US President, Bill Clinton urged Americans to support her aspiration to be elected second citizen of the States.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Kamala Harris to a historic Democratic ticket. She’s already proven herself to be an incredible public servant and leader. And I know she’ll be a strong partner to Joe Biden. Please join me in having her back and getting her elected”, Hilary Clinton stated.
The immediate former US President before Trump, Barack Obama also registered his solidarity for Biden and Harris in the November poll.
In his statement, he gave thumbs up for Biden for his choice stressing that the nomination is well thought out decision.
“Choosing a vice president is the first important decision a President makes. When you are in Oval office, weighing the toughest issues, and the choice you make will affect the lives and livelihoods of the entire country – you need someone with you who got the judgment and the character to make the right call. Someone whose focus goes beyond self-interest to consider the lives and prospects of others.
“Joe Biden nailed his decision. By choosing Kamala Harris as America’s next vice President, he’s underscored his own judgment and character. Reality shows that these attributes are not optional in a president. They are requirements for the job. And now Joe has an ideal partner to help him to tackle the real very challenges that American faces right now and in the years ahead.
“I’ve known Senator Kamala Harris for a long time. She is more than prepared for the job. She’s spent her career defending our Constitution and fighting for folks who need a fair shake. This is a good day for our country. Now let’s go win this thing”, Obama stated.
Evaluating Trump’s administration, Kamala Harris accused Trump of self-centeredness, arrogance and egotism.
“Trump thinks this country belongs to him. But Joe Biden knows it belongs to all of us. To the people. We can’t do this without you”, she stated.
