Ex-US Presidential candidate and Trump’s political associate, Cain dies of Covid-19

FORMER US Presidential candidate, Herman Cain has died after contracting COVID-19.

Cain, who was diagnosed with Coronavirus after attending President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa without wearing a mask died on Thursday 30 July in Atlanta, Georgia, United States at the age of 74.

An American business executive, syndicated columnist, and a Tea Party activist, Cain grew up in Georgia and graduated from Morehouse College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. The businessman and onetime Republican presidential candidate was a former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza.

Cain had expressed his opposition about mask-wearing by “People are fed up!”, Cain’s remarks on mask mandate on July 1; later that day he was hospitalized.

Recall also that Bill Montgomery, founder of a conservative group supporting Trump, also just died from the coronavirus. He introduced Trump at a crowded rally in Phoenix in June.
