Buhari grieves for Chief Imam Of Egbaland, Alhaji Liadi Orunsolu

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the government and people of Ogun State, as well as the family of Alhaji Liadi Orunsolu, the Chief Imam of Egbaland, who passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, aged 98.

Femi AdesinaSpecial Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity) in a statement said President Buhari was saddened on receiving the sad news of the deceased and highly respected monach.

According to the report, Buhari acknowledged his life of piety and including his revered position as President-General of League of Imams and Alfas in Ogun State.

“He lived a long and qualitative life, devoted to the service of Allah,” President Buhari said.

He prayed that for Almighty Allah to receive the soul of the deceased and charged all those who mourn the deceased to derive challenge from his devout life, and seek to approximate same.
