Trump orders reopening of churches, mosques, others

PRESIDENT of the United States of America, Donald Trump has ordered governors to reopen all churches, mosques, synagogues in the United States of America with immediate effect.

Trump gave the order on Friday stating that houses of worship are essential places adding that the society need more prayer, not less.

He directed all the governors to comply with the directive and ensure that worshipers are allowed in their respective houses of worship on Sunday or he will veto them as the President.

“Today, I am identifying houses of worship, churches, synagogues, and mosques as essential places that provide essential services, we need more prayer”, he said.

US and many other nations of the world adopted the precautionary measures put in place by the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) which includes lockdown and shutting down most public places including airports, worship centres among others.
