Man-U drops Cavani, hunts for new entrants

MANCHESTER United have reportedly withdrawn its interest in Paris Saint-Germaine striker, Edinson Cavani on account of his age but making moves to hook up with younger players. Cavani turned 33 in February.

According to a report, the Red Devils as popularly called have been eyeing Uruguay International whose contract with PSG is due to expire at the end of the month.

The Manchester Evening News reportedly stated that Manchester United doesn’t meet with the specifications of players it seeks for on account of his age. The Club as learnt preferred to bring in younger and even unproved talent to brush up.

Cavani is PSG’s leading goal scorer with 200 in 300 games and is also seriously hunted by Atletico Madrid.
